My daughter says she wants to be Rumi for Halloween..? Weird but ok.

Families are on the way to DC. We need to cover van rentals and hotel rooms. I will not, I will NOT, waste your money or time.
Can you help get this donation link in front of your people?
CLARIFICATION :
The Trevor Project's hotline will still be live. But basically this means LGBTQ people can no longer be connected to it through the US national 988 suicide prevention hotline.
They will need to be contacted DIRECTLY
So spread this around
They can be texted. They can be called.
All the credit that Tim Walz got as a VP candidate for good stuff that Minnesota has done? Melissa Hortman (and a bunch of other women) led the hard fight to get bills on his desk and make it politically safe for him to sign.

06.05.2025 14:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt even know how to convey to people outside of public health how devastating this is.. and to include so many non-controversial, bedrock public health functions like food inspections, ffs. Seems their utter foolishness is as boundless as their cruelty.

01.04.2025 22:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Brutal day at MDH amidst a dark time for all of public health. My heart aches for the many colleagues & partners who deserve so much better. And many of us are holding our breath, wondering if weβre next, knowing the cuts & disruption are far from over. I hate this so much. π
01.04.2025 22:24 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0This isnβt a bad idea.. Agree on a day in April when at least half the teleworkers across the Enterprise come in. Document the parking chaos, lack of desks, sitting on the hallway floor only to join Teams meetings, multitude other barriers to productivity, much less wellbeing. Maybe tip the media.
28.03.2025 11:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is a very bad look, @governorwalz.mn.gov. Remote telework is still safer for employees and their families. It's better for the environment, reduces road infrastructure wear, and it opens career pathways for disabled, marginalized, and underrepresented people to work.

I think weβre seeing just how much he cares about people with disabilities, chronic illness, neurodivergence, etc. with this move (and other budget recommendations). Our agency had finally made some gains in diversifying the workforce. This shows folks they are not actually welcome in the Enterprise

27.03.2025 11:19 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβll say it again: That I should work from another city so businesses there can theoretically get my $ instead of those in my own neighborhood is not only absurd, itβs selfish. And Iβll have far less spare time, money or energy to support ANY local businesses for non-essentials, any day of the week.

26.03.2025 23:15 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0A commute significantly reduces my time with my kid before and after school, so Iβm sure as hell not lingering around St Paul when work is done. And with the added expenses of gas, car maintenance, a parking contract & more childcare hours, Iβll be bringing my lunch.
26.03.2025 20:25 β π 16 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Mustβve missed the part of my job description where it says, βsave downtown St Paul.β I run a program that serves folks from all over Minnesota, which requires remote work. 26.03.2025 20:18 β π 20 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0As a daughter of small business owners, Iβm intimately familiar with the struggle. It impacted my whole damn childhood. AND.
