Massive respect to the people of Iran. Huge protests over the past 2 weeks. Government buildings burned, entire cities under protester control, police joining forces with protesters. Total internet and phone blackout for the past 24 hours.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the ending... does the spider represent - corruption? Like he's a good person compared to the 'other guy', but he's going down the road of corruption?

Enemy - quietly unsettling verging on very strange. Jake Gyllenhaal is awesome
Prisoner - just started, Jake Gyllenhaal again, and Paul Dano PERFRECTLY cast...

oof.... exactly right. Might be partially because stories where everyone is happy and nothing bad happens don't really exist, so the only stories we consume tend to have conflict and suffering, even for characters that were initially happy.

New year - new music! Some fast-paced music in a kind-of-anime style for a friend with a super secret project! Having fun with guitars and minor 9th chords 🤯🤯
