of our rosey mimosas

Everything is terrible but I just showed the ten year old Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet (which is utterly ridiculous but also still kind of great) and she goes “oh that super cute boy from the Titanic is in this, what’s his name, Ballerina Cappuccino?”

I understand. Empty places aren't good.

Stairs to nowhere,
roofless dreams climbing,
walls tattooed by strangers’ joy
each mark a windblown whisper
in a life unbound.
