This is a very positive sign! I had previously assumed that the IFR wouldn’t be actively investigating yet.

Also, gov.uk indicates that there is now a Shadow Football Regulator made up of circa 60 members of staff. This team will transfer out of Dept of CMS to the IFR at the month end. #SWFC

In other news. Macron should step down. Only way out of this mess.

If the IFR doesn't act swiftly and decisively on this it will lose all credibility and power. I pray, for the sake of football, and of course for the sake of Wednesday, that they do.

I, like many, will never get these months of boycotting back. Nor will I recoup the memories and joy I've been robbed.

That is the tragedy of modern football. Hopefully the IFR stops anyone else from ever being put in the position that Wednesday fans have been put in this year.

The introduction of the IFR is a positive sign that Chansiri's time may finally be up. He's held #SWFC in limbo for far too long and even he, an incompetent 'businessman', will surely see the writing on the wall.
