Often cited in maker/technical fields but also applies to DIY tasks and getting children ready for ANYTHING

c = how quickly they could see it, also sometimes referred to as the Chuffin 'Eck constant

Pushover alert from an Android phone showing text of a recent post

In preparation for #yarrbooty this year I wrote some #python to check for new @pimoroni.com posts with the BlueSky API. It then uses @pushover.net to send my phone an alert. All running on a #raspberrypi of course. A bit hacky I'm sure but gets the job done
