Played Civilisation (board game) tonight for the first time with male friends. Whilst they argued and attacked each other I silently and diligently, without ceremony or war, built my resources and surprised them when I won.

Genuine question when does the awkward hand shake / hug dance stop being psychologically harrowing

A few years ago I treated myself to a £1k Prada handbag and anyway I am still over here using free totes.

Man mansplained to me last week that in order to do things well you can only focus on a single thing (very true for a lot of people) and told me I was doing too much and would inevitably fail.

I smiled, politely, and said “don’t put your limitations on me”.
