i genuinely could not imagine doing full time school and full time work...
how does a person have the time to commit to either?
my work only gives tuition reimbursement for full timers, even though even as a part time employee (~25 hrs/week) it is hard to manage time between work, school, and rest.

nothing quite like realizing that your headphones might be having a problem... they smell like they're burning. luckily not currently hot to the touch, but i don't wanna risk it.
they were really decent headphones, too, which kinda sucks.

school starting in a few days really makes it hard to get invested in anything game wise.

When bad things happen, I drastically have to avoid the urge to go take thee longest naps. I end up in a spot where I can't sleep at night, but doing things like playing games also doesn't feel quite right, so rotting feels like the only answer... and thus the naps.

i absolutely hate ants, so seeing them on my wife's desk in our office today was Not Great; realizing that this was going to inevitably happen after observing outside was worse.
at least this is happening when we've newly moved in, so we're getting it early in our time here. it's just still gross.

finding out that there are likely ants in our wall due to a whole extensive family of them right outside our window? not great.

finding a goo trap that seems to have them going buck wild, as if we gave them a whole holiday dinner buffet? hopefully great.
