An Attempt Is Made: Publishing a Zine Through Scholarly Channels As far as I’m concerned, pretty much anything can be considered scholarship. I like books, journals are fine, but if someone wants to use a podcast or a zine or a meme to communicate about their area…

Days Jawn By: Black Cat-aptations — Moviejawn by Clayton Hayes, Staff Writer There's a good amount of uncanny atmosphere but, at its heart, "The Black Cat" is more a polemic against the evils of alcohol than anything else.

Edgar Allan Poe's "The Black Cat" has been popular movie fodder for over a century. It was first adapted in a German silent film anthology released in 1919 and the latest adaptation was in Dario Argento's Two Evil Eyes (1990).

@helloitsclayton.com talks all about it here!

Every time you buy a Harry Potter product, you are financing the dismantling of trans rights

Every Harry Potter book or shirt you buy directly funds the persecution of trans people.

There's absolutely no excuse to support anything Harry Potter anymore unless you hate trans people.

And, to paraphrase a colleague, the "AI" label gets slapped onto plenty of things that have been around for years

I've said it elsewhere, but "AI" is a marketing term with no real meaning that gets applied to anything vaguely algorithmically driven
