A lot of the time it's really tough here to "find your people" so people make consolations and as a result we collectively tolerate more of this shitty behavior here because of scarcity.

Sure, I can always be my best self and continue with my life if my paths ever cross theirs but I'd rather not be on the same trail as them in the first place!

In bigger cities all the shallow gays can just exist in misery by themselves or with each other, and I've seen that living somewhere bigger, but here they are inescapable, which leaves a bad taste with how much they try to lord over others on their high horse.

There's this gay who's back in town, as seen on the apps, and it's got me thinking about how part of why I find Saskatoon so souring is the unavoidabilty of shallow, vain gays who use their image to be cliquey and exclusionary.
