Not only are 8/10 charity leaders concerned about how they will absorb the additional costs, theyβre spending extra resource re-budgeting against the clock. Ultimately, this impacts those people and communities the charities exist to serve.

Data is more powerful when it's shared wellπ
This #NationalStorytellingWeek, here are some brilliant digital tools charities can use to create compelling narratives with data.
Great interview and important insights into sector collaboration and inclusivity.
Another charity hit hard by the employer national insurance rise but it will be in very good hands with James Watson-OβNeill at the helm.
Sadly, publishers with social purpose have been replaced by unscrupulous platforms and propagandists.

11.12.2024 20:02 β π 26 π 10 π¬ 2 π 0Many old local BBC news reports had it right at times. I watched one recently about a London family preparing for Diwali in the β70s. It was educational, community-centred, connecting. How sad that such direct and honest (pure and simple?) reporting now mainly dwells in old archives, feeling quaint.
11.12.2024 23:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The notion of βjournalism as a social serviceβ is long overdue. As a pillar of democracy, it has be about the people, community, social purpose, not just state interest and profit agenda. Journalism & media strayed too far b/c the mission became money and big influence/agenda, conflict, division.
