Papiliomaris kluessendorfae, first reported in 1985 as the Waukesha "Butterfly Animal", was recently described as a strange bivalved arthropod with three pairs of large, feathery appendages. Some reports indicate it could reach up to 20cm wide.

Seeing beloved old designs in the Carnivores community getting preserved through new modded creatures like this is awesome, and one of my favorite elements of seeing more recent Carnivores projects like yours.

The most prolific predator of the FMM UV-32 oceans, the Mosasaurus! Original model by Poharex, the Mosa was the first ever aquatic with custom AI made for Carnivores as part of the Modder's Edition Engine, and of course has a place in the reimagining that is Shin Carnivores.

...are out though so I can experience all the new stuff at once in its most complete form. I typically am a "one and done" type of person with playthroughs after all.

Also playing this made me want to revisit Prehistoric Kingdom too. I haven't been playing it since close to its EA launch because I wanted to wait for more gameplay mechanics to be added, but it seems like the game has a lot more meat to its bones now. Still want to wait until the scenarios...

I do have to say though the DLC pricing is something. $8 for just 4 creatures and nothing else (typically) is a bit much for me. Thankfully all of it's on sale at over half off right now, so I did get the 2 dominion expansions and the feathered creature DLCs. Can't wait to check them out

Finally finished all the challenge levels in JWE2 on Jurassic Difficulty. Ultimately it was pretty fun to go through and overcome, and I ended up liking the game a lot more than I did at the start. Still not my favorite prehistoric zoobuilding experience, but it's a fine logistics simulator.
