We're very far away from that, most tech giants had enough liquidity saved up to fund their AI nonsense without additional investment. They have a few years to burn through cash before investors will have a reason to start worrying.

It's more about investment, if it gets a better return to hold onto cash over investing in business then the economy slowly grinds to a halt. Adjusting prices due to over supply doesn't cause deflation, at most it would cool off investment in that sector but could potentially do the opposite.

My big problem with worker coops is that they don't share capital. Even if their profit share is fair, which it really usually isn't, they're still hoarding the capital generated by the labor of workers. That's what I mean by worker owned, workers should decide how a company's capital is used.

Deflation is really only a problem caused by government policy. I'm not aware of any market forces that could cause sustained deflation, even a massive glut of supply would just cool off production not continually decrease prices
