Going to check out that Iron Lung movie. Don't know anything about the YouTuber but I know to support independent cinema when it's made available to us in theaters.

This is why I take a LOT of "tolerance breaks," A) so I'm not dependent on cannabis even though it does help with my anxiety, pain, and insomnia and B) so when it stops being helpful I don't miss it THAT much.

I'm gonna miss Pi, but I can't watch his movies now without feeling like I'll get a stomach ache. Such a shame he wasted his talents on ... *gestures* ... this

Look at all the water you wasted to vaguely recreate a game that already exists.

I'm so disappointed. Been a Darren Aronofsky defender for ages but now feel like I can't even rewatch Pi or mother! without getting angry. Fuck him.

Grab a book! No One Rides For Free is extreme! The Dwelling is fun! Unhappy New Year is twisted! And Our Sarnath is the book I left a huge chunk of my heart in. A dreamy and weird dark fantasy about a queer couple fighting an onslaught of nightmares after a ritual goes wrong in a wintery cabin!

One of my favorite Lovecraft stories.

Our Sarnath: A Cosmic Horror Novella Amazon.com: Our Sarnath: A Cosmic Horror Novella eBook : Sonnet, Judith: Books

This is my best book. It's about growing up with childhood trauma, about being trans in demanding/cruel times, and about giant water gods. Read Our Sarnath today and get ready for some bad dreams!

I give most everything I watch four or five stars because I don't see movies when I don't think I'll like them.

There's a horror short film called THE KNIFE on youtube and it's amazing. They need to make a full movie based on this someday. I could watch two hours of it. Go watch it!

April 7th.
This book has more monsters in it than anything I've written before!
Can't wait for y'all to enjoy THE DWELLING!

I forgot he was in Ant Bully lol. Need to rewatch it. Yeah, Longlegs RULED! But Oz Perkins can do no wrong for me. Every movie he makes is always exactly what I want to see

Did he watch The Hunt and mistake it for a documentary?

I love him. He's just as good in good movies as he is in bad ones. Mandy, Color out of Space, Face/Off, and Snake Eyes are all 10 outta 10

Our Sarnath: A Cosmic Horror Novella Amazon.com: Our Sarnath: A Cosmic Horror Novella eBook : Sonnet, Judith: Books

This is a book about how trans people just wanna live and be happy. It's so exhausting (and scary) trying to defend ourselves constantly. I wanted the political/social stuff to be a surprise, but maybe I ought to just be leaning into it. Because a LOT of real shit went into Our Sarnath.

Would love to see more folks reading my old-fashioned, cosmic horror fantasy story, Our Sarnath. This book follows a young couple who perform a dream ritual at an isolated cabin, where they become trapped with insidious demons, a kaiju sized lizard god, and ancient societies from pre-humanity!

This book was very cathartic to write. It's my most emotional, meaningful, and creepiest work. Read Our Sarnath if you've ever had to learn to love yourself again ... or if you like giant water lizards.

So ... same as last year.

Best Theatrical Releases of 2025 A list of 17 films compiled on Letterboxd, including Keeper (2025), Hamnet (2025), Bugonia (2025), The Life of Chuck (2024) and Weapons (2025).

I think I can safely call it. These are the best films that came to theaters in 2025, as far as I'm concerned. Two Oz Perkins movies and two Stephen Soderbergh flicks. Crazy time to be alive and I'm here for it all.
Keeper is my number one. It's a psychedelic fever dream.

Some authors just seem so miserable about he actual writing process. Like, why are you doing it? For the money? Because if so ... deep breath ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

27.12.2025 22:25 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 17    ๐Ÿ” 3    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Maybe I'm just confused by all of it. The op said they miss-typed but all of it still sounds like Greek to me. Gonna just watch Andy Milligan movies instead. But yeah, there's no cosmic scale. Bad things can just ... keep happening.
