What I learned tonight is the future of the Democratic Party is a trans Muslim CIA agent wine mom who wants to eliminate capitalism and barter with people on the free bus.

All 17 Constitutional amendments in Texas are set to pass. To get on the ballot, they needed 2/3 support in the House, meaning at least 12 Democrats to support.

Serious conversations are needed about how nearly half of these even made it onto the ballot. Time to start holding our own accountable

Tonight’s election results are proof that Americans are demanding change.

Texans want access to affordable health care, lower costs, public schools, and good jobs.

When Texans finally have a governor who prioritizes our needs, we’ll deliver real results for working families across the state.

This would be nice, hopefully someone starts doing it soon. And in Texas please!

This is, of course, correct. But I fully expect most Democrats will see it as a cue to take cover, grovel in abject submission or just stop talking for fear of receiving their own federal indictment.

The primary problem we have in Texas? Billionaires hoarding political power at the expense of working Texans.

As governor, I will prioritize your needs — tackling affordability, creating new jobs, expanding access to healthcare, and keeping our public schools open and funded.

It’s great that they trot this fool out to remind us how fucking stupid everything is.

For nearly a decade, I’ve fought Greg Abbott in the Texas House over his schemes to hand out no-bid contracts to his donors, attack our public schools, and let big corporations profit at the expense of Texans. I’m never going to stop fighting back.
