Living with a reactive dog

Beginning Autism tests (a webcomic) After my ADHD tests, I asked the neuropsychologist if she could help me with autism. We did some tests.

I arrived at the next session full of hope, then I heard a sentence that completely destroyed me. "For me, you are as autistic as I am."

All my struggles, burnouts, years of work leave, my inability to hold down a job, social fatigue, feeling disconnected from everyone, sleep disturbances, feeling like everything is always too much... All that, swept away in one sentence. Finding specialists when you're autistic is incredibly hard. I often feel like everything is done to make you give up. When you're alone and can't work or get a diagnosis, everyday life is hell. "I'll never get out of this. I might as well die, right? That's what society seems to want."

Today marks two years since I received confirmation. But it started off very badly and took years...

But he's super cool so seeing him being nice to the nurses and everyone and talking music and stuff helped 🙏 he already went to one of my art shows

And it's done !! It was super disturbing to see the surgeon do everything as it was not a general anaesthetic 😱

It took me years before I dared to ask my surgeon for a revision _ It would be for an appointment with Dr. P. (on the phone)

Besides my problems with calls, social, and the like, I was afraid of his reaction. That he would tell me to be content with what I had and respond with condescension, as it happened to me several times during my medical wandering.

But not at all! _ I just need to check if your skin is suitable. I have an appointment available in September.

I'm so relieved! All these years of fearing this.

Pour le vernissage de mon expo du mois des fiertés, l'équipe de la ville m'a proposé de faire une table ronde avec SOS Homophobie Auvergne et le planning familial. "On peut aussi faire appel à une interprète en LSF. (langue des signes française). C'est toi qui décide qui intervient, c'est TON expo !" _ Putain oui, c'est trop bien !!! Pour que Lise puise anticiper l'échange, on lui a transmit la trame ainsi que des mots de vocabulaire utiles. "On va présenter vos parcours, SOS, la planning, puis le côté médical" _ parler transition, transphobie, discriminations, hormonothérapie…

Avec Lise, nous étions deux personnes trans, une maman d'enfant trans et la médecin du planning familial qui suit des personnes trans. Elle me suit depuis 2019 et c'était chouette de la revoir dans ce cadre. Cela a permis à au moins une personne qui n'aurait pas pu suivre sans Lise de venir et participer à l'échange. (on voit Lise et la personne qui communiquent en LSF)

Ca m'a fait réaliser à quel point les évènements manquaient d'accessibilité car je n'en avais jamais vu avec une interprète en LSF. Même dans les évènements se disant inclusifs. Merci à la ville et à la mission égalité !

A few months ago, I read the testimony of a trans man who was forced to use the women's restroom. Once there, the women panicked and called their companions for help. They beat up the trans man. And when the police arrived, he was also the one arrested because he was struggling and screaming in panic.

With the gradual loss of our rights as trans people around the world, I keep thinking about this story I read two years ago on Reddit. It could have been me or several of my friends.

Case 1 : "Il y a quelques mois, j'ai lu le témoignage d'un homme trans qui a été forcé d'aller dans les toilettes des femmes." un personnage va dans des toilettes pour femmes Case 2 : "Une fois sur place, les femmes ont paniqué et appelé leurs compagnons à la rescousse." on voit des femmes choqué face à cet homme Case 3 : "Ils ont tabassé l'homme trans." le personnage se fait agresser, l'agresseur dit "je vais te tuer" Case 4 : Et quand la police est arrivée, c'est aussi lui qui a été interpellé car il se débâtait et hurlait de panique.

Avec la perte progressive de nos droits en tant que personnes trans partout dans le monde, je n'arrête pas de repenser à ce témoignage que j'ai lu il y a 2 ans sur Reddit. Ça pourrait être moi ou plusieurs de mes ami-es.

The explosion of anti-trans hatred is quite crazy and it is getting more and more hard for the people concerned

L'explosion de la haine anti-trans depuis 2 ans est assez dingue et ça devient de plus en plus pesant pour les personnes concernées.
