Life goes on, but we get older and somehow more, but less.

I love my life now, but .... Miss that youthfulness, even though I was then in my 40s

Roads were fine at the time. Obviously quite tight and twisty in places, but most surfaces were ok. I crossed from Chur via St Moritz towards Brescia.
Was cold at the highest point but not freezing.

Bon route !

Crossing the Alps is amazing.. I did in late April. Still very cold at the summit before dropping down I to Italy where it was suddenly 20°+ as I crossed the border. Fantastic!
