I don’t know what to do. Aometimes I wish I hadn’t survived cancer because this life? It’s shit.

My best friend decided that she needed a break and says I didn’t do anything wrong she just wants to be alone- which is valid but I’m falling a part and have no one to talk to. Having cancer, MS, and so many long term complications and health problems makes me hard to be friends with.

Today my pharmacy made me feel like a criminal for the meds I am on. They are punishing me bec they don’t like that my dr doesn’t write diagnosis and reasons for the medications on the prescriptions so they can’t determine if they’re “necessary” so I get written up. I have no friends to talk to.

Spent the evening with family doing senior photos with the kiddo and one of his babies… that plane. I can’t believe he’s a SENIOR.

My husband was laid off 4 weeks ago-he’s in broadcast & the company just is collapsing. They’d had multiple rounds & this was the final round. There are only the core ppl left. He’s been in this work for 20 years and is hardly finding any positions, and though he’s gotten interviews - it’s slow.

Is that a leather/vegan leather tank!?! If so… where did you find it!?!? I need to get my hands on it!!! Also- you’re fucking gorgeous.

My husband did a bubble braid/ split faux-hawk for me tonight and it’s amazing… these don’t do it justice. I am the luckiest.

Kiddo has senior pictures tomorrow and I totally forgot to make sure our plane is available. Oops. Fingers crossed.

I have a student named Arson. I’m his “about me” paper he said “I’m Arson and I’m an arsonist. I set our camper on fire last year….”

The library looks a lot better now because I had some amazing students who came in, on their summer break, unasked, to offer to organize them. They are now organized by genre and look gorgeous.

Please- Help me and other teachers continue to be able to provide an education our youth deserve- and the books they need to grow their minds. I hope to have a wish list soon but until then- please donate via VENMO. I will provide an open list of where every dollar goes.

So this is my plea- please see us. See them. And recognize this need. I am collecting donations for books. The kiddos are dreaming up thank you’s … but please know- every penny matters. Especially currently. The only way to make changes in a faulty system is through education. (5)

I have to tell them this nation has decided their education isn’t important. But I will not stop trying. They deserve to read. To escape. To find themselves and see themselves in the pages of a book.

And this year, with tears in my eyes, I have to tell them there will be no new books because I can’t afford it and no one is donating. It’s so hard to tell them that grants I used to get have been defunded - that people who had excess $ and helped, no longer do. (3)

I have spent thousands of dollars out of my own pocket, with zero reimbursement, for the books in our classroom library. The students get excited every year. They bring me lists of books they want - I buy them. I have some who have ready nearly every book I own in there and are asking for more. (2)

We don’t have one bec my HOS told me it wasn’t worth it since “kids don’t read”.

There are MANY more. Being both a woman, an indigenous American, and a long term chronic illness patient makes me someone they treat like shit. The treatment of women in pain and illness, by Drs, is so bad and has been documented so many times.

Yet, I cannot trust them because they never listen, read or believe my records, or even help me at all. I have severe CPTSD due to my medical trauma, as does my son and my mom. These are not the only times that the attitude and lack of treatment by Drs have nearly killed me.

I could keep going… as a cancer survivor, of a chemotherapy treatment that is so strong it is not survivable for adults, with long term effects that are so bad they are using me for a study, it is so important that Drs listen to me and that I can trust them bec my continued life is in their hands.

It took 6 months for them to close the CPS case when it was obvious that the police report was full of lies but no one cared or would help me get it erased or even corrected. That was the 6th time Drs ignored my medical needs and nearly killed me.
