The Lincoln Memorial fox tried to steal one of O'Donnell's shoes around sunrise today. The fox got away with just the sole & I managed to nab a shot of the cutie chewing on it

The whole thing happened so fast. The fox (let's call it Abe) went into her bag, pulled out the shoe and tried to run off with it. O'Donnell was incredibly well-natured about the whole thing.

Several local photographers (myself included) keep an eye out for the fox, who's seen in the mornings
