San Francisco has been a transit/feet/bikes kind of city since cable cars ruled the Earth. But now transit use is down while car use is back to pre-2020 levels. It's not inevitable, but when cars get dominant in a city, they tend to stay dominant—a vroom loop.

I got to visit the world's first library of books written entirely by children, and it was so inspiring. For kids in SF, it's a place they can go read books written by their peers, and just hang out, almost like a kids headquarters.
