not trying to be pro military or say this is good news here. it's just that I have trouble imagining ANY random group of armed men being more violent and cruel than US cops. the Iraqi army showed significantly more restraint than i expect from police here.

like we are in a very different situation than we were in Kent State. does anyone really think any random group of soldiers is more likely to panic and murder civilians than your average ICE cops in balaclavas?
