Naw man. Fuck those guys ๐คฃ
calling yourself an alpha male, getting out of your pickup truck to lay hands on an underage girl, and getting your shit rocked by every set of hands in fourth period Algebra II is a wild character arc

they should make a movie series about how itโs irresponsible to use technology to mess with the natural order of things for profit

The only game I've ever regretted buying was Manhunt.
That game sucked.
And I knew it was going to suck.
But some dude I worked with excited talked me into giving it a try.
And it sucked even worse then I expected it to. It's just not a fun execution of it's dumb edgelord premise.
Doesn't matter how you got there as long as you get there. No notes ๐
03.02.2026 22:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also I mean, hey mecha sicko here, as a westerner I really don't consider myself at risk of being spoiled from overseas model kit news ๐
You gotta be deep IN THERE for that to be a concern. And I'm betting that crowd at this point already know what MS are in the film.
I mean, it is their home market. It makes sense that they're less concerned about overseas spoilers to me.
You gotta draw that line somewhere and I reckon the vast majority of gunpla is sold in Japan so it'd be kinda weird to not market your product line based on the film after its out.
I'm going to start angrily insisting that Roguelikes are actual more like Ancient Domains of Mystery just because I want to see world burn.
Hades is a pioneer in the Ancient Domains of Mystery-like space.
Beautiful.
Unironically I do think of LLR as exactly that. You guys should have a show on after Fred Penner but before Red Green on a Weds afternoon.

02.02.2026 18:02 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Interesting read. Just a warning for my JRPG homes that it does pretty explicitly lay out the whole story and spoil all the twists.
Even a mechanical one that you might be unaware of if you went in cold.
Besides, everyone knows the best hotdogs come from Costco.
02.02.2026 16:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah sure, probably ๐
I do have the say though, the comment is in reference to the common phenomenon of customers who make wild unhinged requests to retail workers that reveal a lack of self awareness of where they are and what they're asking for.
Not literally hotdogs being sold at Home Depot.
Holy shit, that slide ๐.
Now this is how you epically apologize for something. And that's coming from a Canadian ๐

02.02.2026 15:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Bizarre. You'd think that would all be toggleable options in a remake.
Even if turning them off were simply "Draconian Quest" options.
Does this game have those at all? I liked those little tweaks. Shypox ftw.
Was that where your house is? I definitely would pop in to decorate once in a while. That was def the "home base" town I think.
02.02.2026 15:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm reminded that when I played Breath of the Wild I only ever set foot in Kakariko village once, like a hundred hours into that game.

Groundhogs Day was a pretty ok movie.
But as a kid I was always disappointed the groundhog was really only in that one scene where he drives the car.
I felt misled by the trailer ๐
...a new player that you do not in fact "need" to parry and that you can find any kind of play style that suits you.
But it's also there if you want it.
It's good design philosophy.
And it gives you build options.
...away from an attacking enemy, the range of their weapon, etc. Because they "know" the "correct" way to play is to parry apparently.
By sticking it in a skill tree it's something you have to work your way up to. Something you might even need to opt into. By being optional it reinforces on...
...streamer was doing it, or they looked it up and some dumb youtube video with a click bait title, "Five things I wish I knew...", etc, etc.
They do that, get frustrated, crash out and stop playing the game because it's too hard but all the while they never learn the basics, like simply moving...
