During the 2025 election campaign, our costed platform outlined that an NDP government would include three psychological therapy visits per year through MCP for every Newfoundlander and Labradorian.

Acknowledging the importance of mental health matters, but words alone aren’t enough. We must reduce stigma and back it up with real action: timely access to care, community supports, and a system that shows up when people need it most.
