While in Bangkok, I got a good dose of what it’s like to look up into the sky and not be able to see through the pollution or to see other high rises 1/4 mi away. Fortunately for them, the rain cleans the air but the chemicals in the rain burn your skin and leave scabs. We need these protections.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
