Crystal Skull is basically as good as the first three (for the most part), and is certainly in tone and style just as “Spielbergian” as ET or Jurassic Park.

I’m expecting the 1977 version will get some kind of an official HD/4K home release afterward. I don’t see Disney-Lucasfilm putting in the funding and work for a huge theatrical rerelease and then just putting it back into the archives. There’d still be at lease some money to be made.
