Trump’s Sham Peace Plan open.substack.com/pub/chrished...
Federal governments have known about the gross mismanagement and corruption in their offshore detention operations for years.
Neither the NACC nor the AFP nor Home Affairs nor DFAT - who all know about it - have shown any desire to stop it. Serves their political purposes.
ABC’s John Lyons has fired back at Donald Trump’s “absurd notion” that asking legitimate questions could damage relations b/w the US & Australia
“If our job as journalists is to hold truth to power, then surely asking legitimate questions politely…should be acceptable”🔥💯 #Abc
It is over for the genocide deniers.
Even the BBC is now splashing on the UN commission of inquiry concluding that Israel has committed genocide.
Those who supported Israel's onslaught:
You backed a genocide.
You will never scrub the shame away.
One frame. World map. Key: blue = ISRAEL; red = HAMAS. Israel coloured blue on map; entire rest of world coloured red.
They’re everywhere.
My @smh @theage cartoon.
Two frames. Top: March of black-clad ultra nationalists with Aussie flags, placards saying “IMMIGRANTS GO HOME” “AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE” “TOO MANY INDIANS”, facing lone reporter who says, “But aren’t you all descendants of migrants?” Lower frame, same scene with marchers with fists raised replying,”DON’T SAY THAT, BECAUSE IT IRRITATES ME…”
Sore point.
My @smh @theage cartoon.
Australia has an opportunity to get out of AUKUS. We should take it.
We ask the Albanese Government to prioritise Australia's interests and security, and to join the UK and the US Governments in undertaking an independent parliamentary inquiry into AUKUS.

With Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles meeting with US officials in Washington, a Parliamentary inquiry into AUKUS is as important as ever.

Take note President Trump, Hastie has spoken 🤦♂️.
The US would do us real service if they were to pull out of #AUKUS because our ‘leadership’ are wilfully blind to the fact that the US doesn’t have the capacity to deliver the subs. $4.7B already down the 🚽. #honesty #auspol
Single frame. Netanyahu looking at himself in the bathroom mirror, pointing the finger. Reflection says, “YOU’RE A WEAK POLITICIAN WHO BETRAYED ISRAEL AND ABANDONED THE WORLD’S JEWS.”
The man in the mirror.

Instead of honouring our brave Palestinian journalist colleagues including Al Jazeera’s Anas Al-Sharif killed in Gaza, much of the media repeated - nay led - with the Israeli line that they were “terrorists” despite a complete lack of evidence.
We pull apart this tired narrative
Two scenes. Scene 1: man beside corpse wrapped for burial with PRESS flak jacket on top, Netanyahu on other side. Man says, “Why did you kill him?”.Netanyahu replies, “Because he was Hamas.” Scene 2: same set up, man says, “How do you know he was Hamas?” Netanyahu says, “Because we killed him.”
Killing journalists.
My @smh cartoon.
When will journos and others stop repeating propaganda like "90,000" people attended the March For Humanity?
That's a NSW police alleged "estimate"

You know, the ones against the march in the 1st place?
Deliberately downgrading obvious public support, benefits their agenda
