My favorite line in the BC Highway traffic act is "May turn right on a red", which also implies "May not" as well. I often choose the latter. 🚦🍁

Fair warning. I tried a comfort bike after years with hybrids and speed bikes and I now only possess one comfort bike.

Just when I'm convinced Saskatchewan has the country's worst leadership, Ontario's leader opens his mouth.

You have humans actually serving people at a drive thru? Wow. Haven't seen that in over a decade.

When something groundbreaking comes along there are two reactions - embrace it or regulate it to prevent adoption. E-bikes are facing both simultaneously.

I call bullshit. 63% of ebike owners have had a fire-related charging issue? Nah, now way.

Just proves even the worst politicians can exceed their past poor decisions. He doesn't even know the difference between a tax and a penalty for breaking the law.

Beautiful ride to the pharmacy today aside from someone trying to run me down at a 🚦. Looked straight through me as they turned left because my high vis clothing and flashing lights are no match for their impatience. #wankers

So impressive that NASA is preparing to do the same thing it did almost 60 years ago. We've come a long way (not).

E-bikes are a tangible example of it being about the journey just as much as it is the destination. Have fun rediscovering your world!

War math is difficult. 60 people in Afghanistan have died for every American killed in the 9/11 attack, yet no one feels there's been justice - on either side. Including the families of the 50,000 innocent civilians killed in the madness. A good day to reflect on the futility of vengeance.

Kudos to the Town of Comox for cleaning up the graffiti sprayed by hopefully soon-to-be charged vandals. We want to have nice things and nice places.

This is insanity. From design to deployment this is stupid. No bike paths? No sidewalks? Too far from residences? They reap what they sow.

At a dessert get together last night, one of the attendees droned on and on about how she had to be careful driving around cyclists in her beach front neighborhood. Like they were broken glass on the road ruining her commute. She said - roads are for cars, everything else is just in her way.

It's completely understandable that conservatives want to underfund and reduce education opportunities. Their voting demographic leans toward the less educated.

I just read that James Dobson died. I wonder if people comprehend how much influence he was on where we are today - politically. He sure fucked a lot of people over in the name of god.

But who the hell builds an e-bike for urban use without fenders? I'm sure the frame and components are good (It's Surly after all) but essential details shouldn't be extras, they should be baked into the solution.
