11.11.2025 17:05 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0For anyone trying to keep up with what Meta are doing with regards to "ai", it's messy. Really messy, as always when it comes to tactics without strategy.

Amazon just sued one of the largest power companies in Oregon after it failed to power up two data center (one without enough power and one with no power at all) campuses that were meant to be ready *in 2021*. Sure hope this isn't an industry wide problem!

I'm a sucker for the Matador Mix myself, but it's increasingly rare.
No. Make the Reject All button mandatory and standardised so that extensions can press it for me

On the sides the pedestrian pavements cease and the cycle path is diminished in width such that one bike at a time can pass, visibility is bad. A sign on the road side says : "Use bicycle bell".
"Use bicycle bell!" Lund's solution to their own horrendous planning. Four lanes for cars. Cyclists surely sort out who'll get the first try to not get stuck in the fence with their handlebars. Pedestrians are expected to dissolve. In which way exactly does the bicycle bell help here?

I’ve never seen anyone so rich in dollars yet so poor in spirit.

There's a lesson in that.
Great point ruined by a pun.
You should rein that in.
Coincidence?
I think knot!
I just had to do the silly "Block your HDD from being induced by Sherlock, then immediately allow indexing again" to cut spotlight searches from 10 seconds to near instant.
Why is this virtual key jiggling necessary?
I know this isn't what you meant, but I like the idea of actively downgrading every second year.
End goal is to end up with Snow Leopard
This. And it's so ingrained in me that I haven't really thought about how stupid it is until right now.

Now discovering they've removed the Launchpad function I use multiple times daily in this version and there just isn't a replacement
So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

Perplexity, for example, will offer two month at a dollar a month to get you back. At which point, of course, you cancel.

What if we instead built a society without fear of getting old, sick, or unemployed?
We don't need robots.
Or carbon capture.
Or satellite wifi everywhere.
We need to scale back

So glad that I live in Sweden where we have our own Christmas soft drink that absolutely crushes coke year after year.
Julmust is the only must for Christmas

There are only so many versions of airbenders you can crank out.
Okay, so one of the guys your talking about is clearly Joe Rogan, but who's the guy with the podcast?
