I had pleasure of flying 2 seasons, on floats, on the NP. Breath taking scenery.

Planes lined up for our #COPANational #DiscoverAviation event, volunteer pilots and planes to introduce kids ages 8-18 to general aviation. 11 planes, 6 trips each 👍🏻 (and yes, rides were given in that Harvard too, lucky kids)

I should have said he ‘has’ been Capt checked, not ‘was’ which inplies he got it at hiring.

It’s rare but my FO got hired with a fresh commercial/IFR, C182 time and less than 700 total…onto a CJ3 …he was Capt checked and has about 1500 now…anything is possible 😉

The process sucks sometimes but it is the process.

There are other options unless you really want an airline job. Look/ask around the local airports. Private jets / businesses often don’t advertise jobs and can be more rewarding and lucrative than airline/charter. 😉

Just a small consideration, before you move on from instructing (if you intend to) think hard about which cubby hole of flying you want. Then research each thoroughly. Eg. I chose bush flying because it combined my interests of flying, camping/outdoors. 😉

Ahhh, bush life. I do miss those days.

Save for it, highly recommend.

That’s across the lake from us, and if you cross north, try Toronto Island airport (CYTZ) it’s similar too and access right to the downtown.
