Celtic back to winning ways. Should win the SPFL at a canter. AEK up to 3rd and only 3pts off the top. Very much in a title fight.

Chimbonda made 6 apps for Guadeloupe between 2003-12. Technically a World Cup runner up with France in 2006 having made the squad but not playing at the tournament. He made a late cameo in a world cup warm up against Denmark for his sole France cap.

Chimbonda was named manager in October 2023, having been given a 5 game touchline ban, he registered as a player and continued as player manager. He was sacked after the end of the season having been relegated.

Chimbonda came out of retirement and joined the English non-league club. It took a while to return to fitness having spent over 2 years away, sadly this was to be short lived.

October 2014 and Chimbonda returned home in Ligue 2. He played 4 games, recieved 3 yellow cards and was released in February 2015 stating he was retiring.

Chimbonda signed a 3 month contract before he played for Market Drayton, Carlisle eventually keeping him for the season as a useful squad option.

Chimbonda didn't play for a season. He trained with Market Drayton to get his fitness up. A trial at Tranmere came to nothing, before saying he would play for free in Non-League. He played pre-season fixtures but nothing competitive.

Chimbonda became Dean Saunders first signing on a 6 month deal, after 5 games suffering injury that sidelined him for 2011. He signed an extended contract through to the end of the season but couldn't convince the club for longer.

Chimbonda quickly signed for QPR, reported to have taken a 75% pay cut for a 6 month deal. He barely played and Neil Warnock quickly decided he wouldn't have his contract extended.

At the end of the season Chimbonda was on the move again. This time for £2.5m. Chimbonda played plenty in his first season but dropped down the pecking order in the second, making 1 app before having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

In a somewhat surprising move he returned to Spurs after only 6 months and Sunderland recouped the £3m they spent. He only made 3 league appearances upon his return but did provide an assist on his 2nd debut.

Chimbonda popped to Sunderland for a brief 6 month stint following Steed Malbranque and Teemu Tainio for £3m. Managed by Ricky Sbragia he never really settled.

Chimbonda moved to Spurs on transfer deadline day for £4.5m after prolonged negotiations. He was a favourite of Martin Jol, but got in trouble for slapping Nicky Butt with a glove. Won the 2008 League Cup.

Chimbonda joined Wigan for 500k after turning down Marseille. He quickly became a staple and was named in the PFA team of the year. He handed a transfer request in at the end of the season among rumours of big clubs circling.

Chimbonda moved to Bastia following relegation. Chimbonda stated he recieved racist taunts from his own fans following a heavy loss to St-Étienne, in 2005 Bastia were relegated and he was on his way to more familiar surroundings.
