The shambles that was knocking down the old Reading Speedway track without securing a future is a tale as old as time in football. All the broken plans and promises.

I’m sure it wasn’t financially viable etc. but still.

Plans for new Swindon speedway stadium submitted - BBC News Swindon Motorsports hope to build a motorsports hub near junction 16 of the M4.

Speedway was a sport I only ever saw on the regional news bulletin, but moving into local media I became more aware of it. I was too late to actually see any though because it’s essentially been wiped from the map around here. I hope this gets sorted because I’d definitely go.

What happened to Google?! Google AI being hilariously awful What is happening to blog traffic? Is Google AI useful? Google AI scrapes blogger content and Reddit for its ridiculous answers.

I wrote this over a year ago, and thought that was it... But today Google has made things *even worse*. It now scrapes the answer to almost any query, meaning the information providers gets nothing from the deal.

What’s the point of us all doing anything. Until about 6 months ago my niche football blog was pulling in about 2k page views a day minimum after 10 years work.

Google Analytics being shite at counting plus this equals quite the kick in the gonads.

Honestly, why does any of this even matter 🤷‍♂️ I enjoyed it. Apparently a few million other people did to.
