Dude I felt the same way. Zero hype for this season at all, “I don’t care about these characters anymore” I told myself. Oops, accidentally binged the entire first 4 episodes and sat there staring at the credits with my mouth wide open after the final scene with Will. They nailed it.

It’s definitely funny in retrospect, especially because the ad is so disingenuous. You could just as easily make a pile of 700 SNES next to a tiny handful of Genesis games, it doesn’t actually say much. 😅

Hyrule Warriors compete after 23+ hrs. Fantastic game. TOTK fans will find a lot to love here, if the musou combat style clicks. Plenty of post game content as well, but for now I think it’s time to finally dive into Hades II.

I played the demo and liked it! Never got around to playing the full game. But definitely should.

I mean, I’m fine with that too, lol. I’m not gonna start a fight, but I’ll finish one. 😂

Super Metroid drops out of the Top 10 to spot #12 which moves Shadow of the Colossus up into the Top 10 from previously being in the #11 spot.

Another problem with eBay is scammers may show a photo of a real cart but ship you a fake, watch for that.

Sure thing. Here’s a visual example for a real one (top) and a repro (bottom). Apparently another dead giveaway is fakes often have “PRECAUCIONES E INFORMATION” instead of INFORMACION.

Other things are situational, like if a seller has 100 copies of a rare game and it ships directly from the China, that’s a red flag it’s a repro distributor.

Real carts will have a nice crisp Nintendo logo on the back cover with a square dot over the i, and will have a number stamped into the back sticker. Screws should have a circular outer edge, not hex shaped.

It’s harder without being about to open the cart and look for the Nintendo logo on the board itself, but things to look for: Repros often have a too shiny and/or off-center label. The PCB should be orange in color (except RE2 and Ogre Battle). …
