Elections are one tool in the democratic toolkit - yesterday it was voting, and tomorrow we will keep organizing. I am proud to have run this race with the support of @twincitiesdsa.org, and to continue building with my political home (Join DSA act.dsausa.org/s/3311.R6gRaz).

I will always be committed to a park system with great transit connections, environmentalism rooted in class struggle, expanded childcare programs, and swim lessons for every 3rd grader.

We saw a turnover of 6 out of 9 park board members, ushering in a labor-endorsed majority. This is a big win for unions and the workers who make our treasured spaces work for all of us in Minneapolis.

Congratulations to my fellow labor-endorsed At-Large candidates Tom Olsen and Amber Frederick, and district winners Jason Garcia, Kay Carvajal Moran, Dan Engelhart, Kedar Deshpande, and Charles Rucker.

I am so proud of the work we have done on the campaign trail, and incredibly grateful for all the relationships we built along the way. Together, we set a new standard for park board campaigns and political campaigning city-wide.

Amazing day of GOTV! I had a great time at the @omarfatehmn.com rally, canvassing in ward 10, and then apartments after sunset. I even got to chat about the election while helping people move into their apartment unit! Renters are fired up for progressive city leaders this election!
