I’m sad to deliver the news that we unfortunately did not win our campaign for re-election. I have called the new Council Member-elect and wished her well. My term will be ending at the end of December this year, and I plan to use the next two months to do as much as I can for Ward 7 residents.

Minneapolis is a union town! Workers deserve a living wage and an affordable home. Mayor Frey turned his back on workers when he vetoed the Labor Standards Board and proposed gutting co-enforcement. As Mayor, I'll champion workers, and ensure our workforce can stay in Minneapolis.

Have gotten the opportunity to shadow two of our DFL endorsed Park Board candidates as they knock doors and learn from both, Tom Olsen two weeks ago and Kedar Deshpande on Sunday!

Brian Strahan voter guide

In the Strib voter guide Brian Strahan says his neighborhood is Logan Park. Close, but not quite. His Ward 3 home where he has voted from as recently as January of this year is Sheridan neighborhood. The duplex his wife owns in Ward 1 is Windom Park. Lying so much he can’t get his story straight.

For example, for a few wards I just have parks I'm familiar with in that ward; but since I'm doing a separate section with each park district I'd like to limit parks to those.

I'm making a short video explaining what's on the ballot in Minneapolis this year and I want to do it on location, so I'm looking for landmarks/backdrops in each ward! Leave suggestions as I'm not as familiar as I'd like to be in some parts of the city.

The 2025 Minneapolis DFL City Convention is coming soon! We are looking forward to a spectacular convention on Saturday, July 19, at the Target Center in Downtown Minneapolis. Registration opens at 9:00 am and the convention will come to order at 10:00 am or shortly thereafter. This November all nine seats on the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board are up alongside the City Council. I interviewed five of them before the DFL* Convention this Saturday. They all got the same questions, with the exception of one question for incumbents.
