Had my 2nd operation in 2 months yesterday. Need some suggestions on things to watch while recovering. I have access to Amazon Prime, Foxtel, Paramount + and Australian free to air streaming services.

Scammer called trying to claim they were from tech support. I upset him so much he called me a bitch and hung up.
I love it when I can waste their time and make their day just that little bit worse.

I feel a side question loading - rearranging the vac sealer cupboard.
If that loads, the 2 huge boxes of containers will likely end up waiting 5 years to be sorted through.
If it doesn’t load, I will move the vac sealer stuff somewhere where it will probably sit for 5 years.

ADHD me is on fire. Rather than do my studies I'm behind in, I decided to start a task I have put off for years... the container cupboard. Top shelf emptied and new glass & steel containers stacked nicely. Bottom shelf emptied and found helps of vacuum sealing stuff.

Hospital called with my surgery time. 8.15am..... 8.15am!!!! I live 100km from the hospital. May not need sedation, I'll be sleeping anyway.
I don't like this game. Not one bit

If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
Magic sky fairy, universe, galaxy, what/whoever I need to ask, please stop fucking with me for a while. If that is too much to ask, can you at least let me get through surgery next week without any fuckery?

Fantastic. They finally come take the solar off the roof so the roof can be replaced in 2 weeks time under insurance and they've fucked up my power. Everything on the UPS isn't working now the battery has drained. I have mains power to other circuits. Has to happen on a Friday fucking night.

When you're exhausted, waiting on surgery, and back at work full time, the last thing you need is a horse out. 2 weeks after he got out, I finally walked half the fence line yesterday, patched a few holes and put him back out.
This morning 2 were out. 6 more holes patched. Did not need this 😮‍💨

This is the second deer I've seen in the last few months. The first was a big buck that was on a mission running through my paddock.
This little girl just walked up near the backyard, had a munch, then made her way towards the paddock, jumping the fence like it was tiny

Well the new Pepsi recipe is horrible. I will be taking back all unopened Pepsi purchased since the change and hopefully get a refund.
As a massive Pepsi drinker with a lot of food aversions, I have no idea what I'm going to do now. Damn you Pepsi. You were the one constant in my life!

I don't think I'm affected by the QANTAS one as I don't travel, but have been in others.
That's normally my philosophy too, however, I have put in a few job applications recently and I'm also waiting to hear from a hospital where I'm on a surgery waiting list, so I'm answering calls very cautiously.

The scammers using the data from breaches are getting better too. In the past week alone, I have had 2 scammers call telling me my full name, address, and DOB claiming to be from previous utility companies. I denied everything and abused them until they hung up, but they would fool many.

Replaced the plug today and did a mighty fine job of it, if I do say so. New plug is elevated above Rip height.
Saved myself almost $200 by doing a little electrical work myself. Bought a few extras just in case the little shit does it again.

.Just went to get something out of the freezer for dinner and everything is defrosted. Rip has chewed through the power cord.
I have cut the power cord off a disused appliance and made a dodgy join until I can get a new plug. I hope it gave him a little zap so he doesn't do it again 🤬 - 4th time

Won't work with no signal, but will for low battery. Don't forget to call emergency services after changing. If the call drops out, they will call back and get the voicemail message.
Text message would also work, and may be less battery draining.

3/3 everything off the hotplates and dumping it in the sink under running water. 10 minutes later, everything off the hotplates and thick smoke throughout the house. I open every door I could and start trying to clear the sink.
Both dogs took off outside when the first door opened. House stinks.

2/3 the dog had jumped up and turned on the hot plates where my horse meds were sitting in a plastic bucket. The bucket was partially melted and the meds burning, along with some plastic measuring cups and a pair of scissors. Turned the hot plate off, opened the door, then started pulling...

1/3 Getting ready for going back to work tomorrow, I was blow drying my hair in the bathroom and could smell something toxic. Turned off the hair dryer and it wasn't it. Opened the bathroom door to smoke spreading through the house. Fireplace was fine, ran to the kitchen and thick smoke choked me.

Gave up trying to follow my TAFE learning materials on how to code. Found a website not long ago that is far more useful and have just passed my first section and coded multiple lines.
TAFE material made no sense, this website is easy to understand and free!

I'm glad the rogue zebra was finally caught and is safe. But surely, incidents like this further support the calls for exotic animals to be outlawed in the US. Why they are allowed at all is perplexing. No one "needs" a zebra. The animal cruelty in the US knows no bounds.

You know there's snow nearby when you have the fire going and the reverse cycle air con on and it's still only 14 degrees inside.
I wonder if I'll get snow this year 🤔 Been here about 15 years, had snow 3 times that I know of.
