Absolutely shaped me creatively and as a person. To this day my favourite movie of all time.

Also the best experience I ever had to this day was my Manbeast unarmed run. Basically just murder hobo'd the entire thing with bloody mess and pushed the important NPC killing to its limits. The strip was empty within the first half of the story.

I got 100% achievements as my tribute to the RPG masterpiece 3-4 years ago and it was awesome. There are a lot of bugs that prevent those achievements though so the jank prevails.

Absolute favourite part of that was doing all of the in game challenges, some of them are so goddamn funny.

Annihilation is an ultimately better experience and I loved the visuals in the movie but it goes against the point of the book imo. I feel the same way about the adaptations of the Colour out of Space.

I can say he does have some skill around sci-fi as his lesser known show Devs was really good.

For those interested my GOTY is Look Outside by @frankiepixel.bsky.social, I hadn’t played an RPG maker game in a long while before picking this up and I can confidently say it’s the best existential horror game I’ve ever played. The writing + art is just phenomenal - it’s such an awesome story.

I thought I’d never come around to this 6 7 stuff but it pisses off my parents to high heaven so here I am at the Christmas event swinging my hands up and down maniacally.

Thinning the dust in the grooves could help too. And perhaps add a few different grunge maps for splatters and such elsewhere, I'm assuming this truck has been through some nasty environments.

The dried dirt works on the chassis more than the wheels at the moment imo. I think the dried mud on the wheels needs to have less of an even spread layer across the wheel. Some colour + height adjustment in areas can simulate that. Bonus points for cracks. Regardless it's a great project thus far!
