Wob mostly the new tech for mechs gets weird and the new tech for infantry and protomechs gets very killy.

If they wanted to do it well in a videogame you'd be looking at either a strategy game or a battlefield like.

Or an rpg that abstracts some stuff.

But who knows, the tabletop upgrades and refreshes have caught up to fedcom civilwar and operation bulldog, so WOB would chronologically come next

It gets even goofier, because it involves like the destruction of the free worlds league via clones and cyborgs and shit, and just random nuke fights.

It's also kind of a miserable time to do a mech game because of all the power armor and protomechs

Unfortunately the WOB thing was kind of a retroactive justification for a time skip in the tabletop forced by a change of ownership.

So it's kind of rushed and half baked in it's best versions.

They might revisit it someday to try and fix that.
