The past few days have confirmed for me something I’ve long believed: the American political system is terminally fucked, but the American people are not.

Most Americans want to live in a democracy in which everyone has a decent life—the fascists in this regime represent a dying minority.

Give the money to social services, to public libraries, to affordable housing, to health care for all. The money's there. The money's always been there. Let's do it.

BTW when I say abolish ICE, I mean abolish it entirely and replace it with exactly nothing. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. That's it.

Family of Alex Pretti, who was shot dead in Minneapolis today, releases statement:

"The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs."

Also kind of a relief to know the gas fireplace still works without electricity. Emergency heat if needed

Candles lit over on the mantle over a fireplace, and a dark TV in the corner.

Power has been out for a few hours, and the power company's estimate for restoration is in like 15 minutes.

But practicing guitar with the pouring rain and candles and fireplace is ~a vibe~

I woke up at 3am, upset and had to get up and check on my guitars. Had trouble getting back to sleep.

Last night I dreamt I went to a busy independent guitar store and accidently broke several guitars.

I paid for them of course, but the worst part was they weren't even guitars that I wanted.

Taking a break from cannabis for the first time in years, no real reason just kinda feel like it.

I'm on day 4 and it's fine, but ~the dreams~ have started.
