I think too many people think that everyone would pick their country and the people in it, first, in a situation. To some people, and we have a few in the UK, the God is money. Whoever gives it to them is who they follow. Without ethics of morals.

The trouble is, and we have it here in the UK with Brexit. The right will make a mess, blame the other side and their simplistic supporters will believe them. The narrative here is that Labour prevented a better deal, when the conservatives had an easy majority.
