I love a good book, but for rulebooks a PDF is pretty handy, because it has CTRL+F. I tend to prefer dead tree editions of things though, there's no screen to worry about, and they're typically in a size I like.

PDF's are handy for desktop reading though, but that's typically rulebooks for games.

Here's where things with the Eevee Poképla wound up last night. Did my best at removing nub marks and injection seams on parts (first pic has before on right), and got the Eevee's body built as well. Body has quite the noticeable seam line, but soon enough I'll be getting to work on removing that!

Okay, #histscalemodels. Here is where we sit with the RFM Stryker MGS. Still so much to do but we are getting close. Tons of cool details in this kit, and yes, those are working hinges. 😮‍💨

This one isn't the best of examples for things, since I was trying to see how much what I had could cover, but there's already options players can choose, and to top it all off, there's that slight imbalance between each side, which allows for a lot more.

But I also don't play 40k.

There were other Reaper Miniatures models I wanted to add in, which is why the commander's hatches are open, and I was also going to add on models hanging off the turret and/or the LAV. Hopefully I can find which box they're hidden in so I can look at starting the whole project up again.

The original idea obviously lives on, but I kind of wanted to take it on either a Cyberpunk 2077 or Akira highway scene kind of vibe. Still do, but the biggest hurdle I ran into was trying to shoehorn the driver into the JGSDF LAV. Thankfully, I have more skills now, so I hope to try again soon!

I've mentioned this project a few times, but haven't actually posted about it on here yet - The Midnight Raid. It's based around a simple question: What if gnolls got their hands on a tank, and maybe a few other things? What kind of joyride would they go on?

But I'm also someone that sometimes when an idea hits, I'll dive head first into the deep end and see where it goes. Which reminds me, I really should try and sort out that roadblock I ran into with "The Midnight Raid", doubly so because a part of my brain is thinking of combining two ideas...

Adding on to this, these kinds of kits can help out those who are still shy about things like dioramas, and it lets them dip their toes into such things without fully going into scratch building. Hell, in some ways that's how I got my start - just seeing what could work well together.

I presume you're talking about that ICM kit you mentioned yesterday. I don't really see an issue with it, doubly so because we have so many "location diorama" kits. It's also nice to see more "day in the life of" type things.

The best thing is those boxes can be kitbashed to create new scenes.

This was a ‘big build’ from a while ago…lots of mistakes in it too but it’s one of my favourite efforts at any sort of tank…I think it‘s reasonably accurate if not perfectly curated…🤷‍♂️🫣

Figured I'd post about something a little different today. Here's the custom MG Zaku II I've been working on on and off for the past little while. Combined the Yujiao Land Zaku II resin conversion kit with a few ideas from the MS-05L Sniper Zaku and the MS-04 Bugu.

Haven't forgotten about Taurus, but I've been dealing with a decent amount of burnout and feeling overwhelmed in general. There's been an annoyingly large (and taxing) amount of phone calls, appointments, emails, and waiting for replies the past few weeks.

And they also encouraged use of it. Nowadays, tables barely have any, especially at tournaments.

Always interesting to hear the baffled comments of 40k only players when they see an Infinity table that's in the middle of downtown, and unsurprisingly has tons of tight alley ways...

Indeed! They've kind of been sitting on the sidelines for a while, simply because those first kits are a royal pain to be able to get them all together on a stand. After the Blooded, I'll probably crack into getting my Hundred Kingdoms built up to 2000 points assembled.

And they say Mantic models are rubbish.

Been wanting to build something other than tabletop wargaming units, so let's bring a kit out I've wanted to build for a while! They're fun little kits, I like Eevees, they're super handy kits for trying out various techniques on, and a box out is a box out!

Plus it's an Eevee.

Four Blooded models for the W'adrhun force for Parabellum Games' Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. They're wielding a variety of axes, swords, and other sharp things to hit their opponents with.

Got my first stand of W'adrhun Blooded built, which leaves just eight Blooded to go to finish off that release date One Player Starter Set I've had in the backlog for some time!

True enough. The LAV III thing I was thinking was going to have a driver sitting above his hatch and the back door(s) open, so that would have at least had something visible, although I was also tempted to do the same thing with the Engineering Stryker because it's just neat looking

Hopefully that's the case. I'm wanting to build a few kits with full interiors. I'm still tempted to do the Trumpeter LAV III with one of those interior kits, even if it's probably not accurate.

Engineer variant would be absolutely epic though!

Vallejo filters followed by Vallejo and AK pigments.

Next up I’m going to seal the horizontal surfaces with some dilute matte medium, followed by a blow down and flat coat on the vertical surfaces.

Infinity's Lament in RGB Gamer style

Painted up my Infinity's Lament today. Did a little bit of a mod to it.
