Saw this once many years ago, and it was every bit as terrible as it sounds.

This is the key point - it's not about Moderna's flu vaccine, it's about sending a signal to the rest of the industry that vaccine development isn't viable in the US. It's all part of the larger anti-vaccine agenda.

Attia has always been a grifter. It's just unfortunate that the public didn't see him for who he is until it came out that he was cozy with a child rapist.

Huh, I'm no political expert but "we don't want punish child rapists because the stock market is doing well" seems like bad optics.

If anything, Prasad's been a machine his whole career. He's an author or co-author of 500+ peer-reviewed papers (avg of 2 papers/month for 20 years), plus 2 books and an extensive (albeit controversial) social media presence. Nothing about the man suggests laziness.

What's infuriating about this is that despite other comments here, Prasad is not a "moron", "idiot", or "anti-science".

He's intelligent & thoughtful. But he's also become biased through narcissism, audience capture, and the backfire effect triggered by strong criticism of him during the pandemic.

For those unaware, the Constitution prevents any member of Congress from criminal or civil punishment in response to revealing Epstein's client list while on the House or Senate floor.
