The question I would ask is:

Do those values support or restrict the advancement of Open Knowledge understanding?

As people set up #AI agents to help them answer questions, it will be interesting to see the different ways in which people cope with the values inherent in the AI answers. Will they demand AI responses reflect their values or will they be open to listen to more open #Values expressed by AI agents?

I wonder how many creators of #AI are aware of [or have intentionally thought about] how their creation might start putting in place its/their own new rules & thinking models, alongside existing ones, conditioning us to later switch in to living in an alternative societal system?

For whose good?

When setting up an ongoing performance evaluation do you consider Goodhart's Law or McNamara's Fallacy, or, perhaps even better, BOTH?

Even if you think that all that matters is the #economy to measure it only in quantitative terms [ #GDP & #GDPgrowth] is a serious error, the quality of the economy matters.

What is your understanding of the qualitative considerations of an #economy? money generation? or human wellbeing? #economics

Is it more creative to produce yet another story that follows the 'underdog against authoritarianism' meme, or to write a story about peoples using their diversity to create new ways of living that are better for everyone, not fighting against but sidestepping authoritarian power?

Is the desire to have and use power over another/others a strength?

OR

Is it merely a sign of greed and fear? 🤔

Is the arrogance with which we describe ourselves as 'Homo Sapiens' indicative that we are far from wise?

The optimist in me hopes, in a few million years, human beings might consciously evolve to have the wisdom to participate in #mutualwellbeing governance rather than accept the rule of bullies🤔

A question to consider when evaluating political decisions:

Does this political decision signal that it is OK to develop and use political power to exploit the misfortunes or weaknesses of others?

It isn't just that 'monetary gain' & 'status' are dominant drivers of decisions, it is that the laws on which financial decisions are made do not take account of many real human & environmental costs + generating personal wealth too often has more status than contributing real benefits to humanity🤔

If we want sustainable peace then we need to consider governance at all levels to prevent abuse from within and outside. That requires us all to consider the interaction of influencing factors in breadth and all the issues in depth not just in slogans.

To be first in moving mindsets, governance and behaviours towards #MutualWellbeing [ which by the way is a concept built off the foundations of the Biblical Golder Rule] would be real leadership but when 'to be first' is understood as building abusive power over others, it is at best a sad concept.
