Don’t get out the habit of going to a match. Simply switch to your local non league team

No problem supporting two teams when they are so far apart (football wise) and the non league team will be much more appreciative of your support

Proposed rule change - if the game is stopped for a head injury, that player must go off the pitch for a full head impact assessment. (should take c5 mins)
Serious injuries demand this time out of the game and it will penalise players deliberately stopping the game as a time wasting opportunity

If the ball goes out of shape (fails the ring test) does that actually disadvantage the bowling side.

There is no doubt that attempts to change the ball only happen when “nothing is happening”

There must be some sort of penalty to discourage frequent speculative attempts

A couple of very speculative guesstimates (and I expect the Telegraph to over estimate) doesn’t really count as evidence 😊

I am quite happy to agree the wider damage and costs relating to various incidents (and obviously the paint damage costs massively exceeded my original thoughts)

However, the article you referenced does not directly support or evidence your claim as the cost of the paint damage is not quantified.
