It's really not hard to make responsive websites anymore. They fixed almost all of it.

AI model development is free right up until you need to start training and trialing some small, usable models. Then it's very very expensive 😭

v0 is overall great but it just charged me a dollar to add a bunch of backslashes to my codebase and then fail to delete them when the code stopped working because of all of these backslashes

Who are the AI builders and hackers on Mastodon? I spent the last month building a fairly unique chess bot and wanted to show people.

It's a transformer architecture and has promising early results. Lots of room for improvement in training data and architecture too.

My favorite kind of bug is where two bugs happen at the same time. So you solve for bug 1 but bug 2 is still there still thriving and still messing your stuff up.

I don't think people understand the *massive* gulf between fire injuries/deaths and traffic violence.

Here's an example:

Average annual fire injures in Berkeley: 2
Average annual traffic injuries in Berkeley: 694

Austin rents tumble 22% from peak on massive home building spree The Texas capital has become the poster child for advocates who say the only way out of the U.S. housing crisis is building more homes.

"Nowhere in the country have rents declined as much as they have in Austin β€” now 22% off the peak reached in August 2023, according to Redfin. The median asking rent is $1,399 per month, down $400 in less than three years"

Ever get confused by OpenAPI’s oneOf, allOf, and anyOf? We got you!

πŸš€ oneOf: Only one schema matches
πŸš€ allOf: All schemas match
πŸš€ anyOf: At least one matches

A small change can have a BIG impact on API validation.

I break it down in this guide πŸ”½

Austin should be a city where generational families can stay and thrive.

Had a great time with @aura-atx.org! Their work for a more inclusive, connected Austin is inspiring.

Together we're building a city that works for everyone! 🏠 ❀️

Imagine if you will a Texas connected by regional rail lines, and Texas cities big and small with light rail systems. No more worrying about driving on congested highways or worrying about finding parking downtown. Wouldn't that be nice?
