I've seen similar presses improvised with a cold laminator, clothes wringer or die cut machine :)

It's one of those ones for making flat sheets and noodles. I took the bottom off and turned it on its side so I can get a longer sheet through without hitting the table. Layered up the tetrapak+paper with a few sheets of newsprint (instead of a blanket) and some smooth cardboard.

A 5 panel comic strip: Title panel: Butch is eating out Bimbo on a bed. Bimbo says “Oh Butch!” Follow by floating text that says “& Bimbo”. Olivia Cruz author name. 1st panel: Bimbo and butch are sitting on the bed. Bimbo is naked and butch is pulling on a shirt. Bimbo says, “So, Butch you must have a pretty good understanding of your gender.” Butch says, “Whad’ya Mean?” 2nd panel: Butch is rooting through her shorts’ back pocket. Bimbo says, “I mean, you’re so masculine and your own woman. You must be so in touch with your gender.” 3rd panel: Butch is lighting a cigarette and says “Not really.” Bimbo says “What?!” 4th panel: wide shot of them both sitting on the edge of the bed while Butch smokes. Bimbo says, “How did you know you were butch then?” 5th, finale panel: Butch says, “None of the dresses fir me.” And bimbo falls over with her legs up.

Alex, in her rural home hears "if you build it they will come" emanate through the window. She draws a comic called Loon Girl. Loon Girl says "double-fistin' Faygos" in her comic. She posts Loon Girl to Webcomicclown.com. She hears a rustling outside in the cornfield outside the house. Some people emerge from the cornfield. A man introduces himself and says "hi, we're neurodivergent." Another man says "we love your webcomic." A woman holds up a drawing pad and says "I've drawn a nude Loon Girl."
