I'm in the middle of refining and improving our recruitment process at BG. At the moment we tend to go with a quick screening call, an in-depth behavioural interview and sometimes a technical interview or case review depending on the skills.

The point about the value of the data the state holds is very well made. Not necessarily citizen data, but that relating to the running of government is a strategic asset, and should be treated as such.

It's hardly a major problem, but I'm on 6 meds and I have to keep a note of them on my phone because every HCP I speak to asks - presumably because they can't see my care record. That probably accounts for 20% of the time in any appointment.

When I used to switch time zones every few days I found the secret was to follow the sun and local meal times. Sun when you should awake and as dark as possible when you should be asleep. Breakfast local time. Usually sorted out my jet lag in one night.
