there's a lot of very recent research coming out that seems to show a comorbidity in adhd/autism and pmdd so that makes a lot of sense

without that tiny note the song would still be so wonderful. but to me that's the true genius of brian wilson, taking something already so incredible and then making it better in a way that isn't even perceivable to the listener

I've always loved this song so much, I think the harmonies are some of the best brian ever wrote. I've probably listened to the song thousands of times. but when I first heard that particular clip I had to listen back to it at least 50 more times just to understand the magic of that tiny note

his tiny flair at the end of his part, that sounds like an afterthought. yet in the context of the full vocals you realise that tiny, tiny little emphasis in note COMPLETELY changes the structure of the harmonies in an almost inperceivable way unless you've heard that singular part by itself
