We are too large to control by force and I know this is dark but they are building an empire less dependent on labor, so they need a population purge. No food/healthcare is expedient. They will make resources only available through the govt, for those who cooperate, and use prisoners for hard labor.

This is a good point, but the dip in consumer spending could trigger a sell off and it could be implemented quickly. An economic strike could be paired with preparing a hardship fund for general strike participants next year, which I think in the US would have to be in targeted in unionized spaces

Economic strike. No holiday spending at publically traded companies, no shopping Black Friday and the week after. Promote now so people can plan ahead for shopping less/differently, community celebrations and barter events, talking points with family about scaling down and gifting local experiences.

I feel like this is what this bill is really about. All the cuts are getting the focus because they are horrific, but to me even more horrific is what the funds are being redirected TO. This money is what takes us from bounty hunters in LA to Kristalnacht all over the country.
