Was over there, now dabbling over here. I guess we'll see how things end up!

Lib Demβs very clear on how - our policies as agreed at conference, published & then outlined by Ed to the media.
Also trying actual steps in Parliament to make it happen, starting with the bill to rejoin the Customs Union thatβs being introduced soon.
Labour are the ones in gov.
Brexit has cost each and every one of us Β£3,700 a year.
But instead of solving the problem, Labour are using Brexit as an excuse to raise your taxes.
My message ahead of the Budget: Stop blaming Brexit and start fixing it!

Full marks to them for doing the right thing here and extra house points because it also happens to firmly stick two fingers up at Farage at the same time.

25.11.2025 19:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ffs. All this government had to do was be better than the last one. It's not difficult, given that one engaged in the wholesale slaughter of elderly people and yet, it seems beyond them. The right to trial by jury is a cornerstone of democratic justice, even I know that and I'm an idiot.

800 years (just under) for trial by Jury.
Until Starmer's Labour got to power.
The choice between "spend money and improve the system" or "remove a citizens fundamental rights" seems to have been an easy one for them to make.
Utterly appalling.
And will be incredibly corrosive for the justiciary.
Aside from introducing βtwo-tierβ justice, it completely opens the door for all out assault on judges from the political & press extremes - then hungrily feeding their voice for politicising it further & removing independence.
Imagine coming up with a proposal so stupid, so unworkable, so thoughtless, that it makes Robert Jenrick look sane by comparison.
