I'm a bit slow to the game (Lindisfarne called) but we had a super all-day session at the EAA. Massive thanks to my co-organiser @dalisera.bsky.social. The schedule is finally set for our daylong (!) panel at EAA2023 in Belfast: “The Experience of Stone.” 24 papers, with global scope and a vast chronology from prehistory to the medieval. (Subjects include: caves, high crosses, death rituals, sacred stones, temples, volcanic seascapes, and more…)
