When are we going to learn that #medicines are not the answer to everything. It’s like tightening a screw to fix a collapsing bridge & spending most of our £ on the screw. Some are life changing (very rarely), some help but only if we address other issues, some do nothing & at worst some cause harm

After getting my prescribing qualification, I didn't prescribe a lot but I found the training very useful in resetting my approach to clinical assessment, so it's not just about creating a prescription it's the wider impact on practice

Of course they don’t, there’s a difference between gaining a prescribing qualification and securing a role with an agreed prescribing function and budget
